Between games, the work doesn’t stop. There’s the umpires’ meeting room, the briefing on the new ruling, the conversation about that contested call, the warm-up before the next match. Zip up the St George Netball Umpire Track Jacket and you carry the role between every whistle. Worn by St George District Netball Association umpires at every level, junior development through to A badge, for the parts of the day the players never see. The kit that says you take this seriously, even when no one’s calling for centre pass.
